September Events
We’ve got some good stuff planned for September. Remember, as always, sign up and pay ahead of time to ensure your place! We’re still working on our list – it will go here when it’s ready:
- • September 12 – Magic Eventide Booster Draft, 6 to 9. $15 to enter, first 8 paid players will participate in an unopened booster draft. Big Robot will loan land cards, but players will keep the cards they draft. PRIZES: 1st gets 3 boosters, 2nd gets 2 boosters, 3 gets 1 booster, and 8th gets one booster.
- • September 20 -Stay all night at Big Robot! Party from 11 pm to 8 am, stay up all night, go crazy! There will be mini-tournaments with prizes, pizza at midnight, and lots of fun. Get your friends! Cost: $20 ($25 on the day of the lock-in) for 9 hours of unlimited gaming on PCs or consoles. Price includes midnight pizza and 2 soda coupons. Bring your own rig and save $10 off the price!

Daily Activities:
- • Mondays/Fridays: all Magic games played on Mondays and Fridays count towards monthly Magic League standings.
- • Tuesdays/Saturdays is open play for our Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh fans.
- • Dungeon Masters are invited to use our private gaming room on Saturday nights for D and D – first person to reserve gets it!
NEW Fall Hours!
Summer’s over and school is back, so we’re starting our NEW FALL HOURS! We had great luck with our hours over the summer, so we’ll be open SEVEN DAYS A WEEK! It might be semi-illegal in Tipp to be open every day, but we’re bucking convention. Come on in!

Fallout 3 is coming to the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 28 in North America and three days later in Europe, Bethesda announced today.
“We are very excited to let gamers get their hands on Fallout 3, the latest chapter in this beloved and highly acclaimed franchise,” said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. “To meet the huge demand for this title by our fans worldwide, we are planning one of the biggest launches of any game released this year.”
Color me freaking excited.
Fallout 3 Available October 28
Major Launch Planned for the Winner of E3 2008’s “Best of Show”
August 20, 2008 (Rockville, MD) – Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax Media company, announced today that its highly anticipated title, Fallout® 3, will be available on store shelves and online in North America on October 28, 2008 and in Europe on October 31, 2008. Developed at Bethesda Game Studios – creators of the 2006 Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion® – Fallout 3 is slated for release on the Xbox 360®video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, and Games for Windows.
