About Us

Big Robot Game Cafe, located at 114 East Main St. in downtown Tipp City, OH, offers PC and video gaming by the hour. Enjoy our state-of-the-art gaming center in a relaxed, coffee-house atmosphere. Gametime is $5 an hour for individual game stations and our social stations, which can accommodate up to four players on our HD 42″ LCD screens. Our hours, designed to cater to the gamer, are 3-9pm Tues-Thurs and 3-midnight Fri-Sat.

What is the Big Robot Game Cafe?

Big Robot is a game center, similar to an internet cafe but focused more on games. There are over 400 game cafes around the world, with the closest ones located in Indianapolis and Detroit. Most are members of iGames, an industry group.

Equipment:

People come in and pay by the hour to play the games we offer on our gaming PCs, Xbox and Xbox 360s, Playstation and Wii systems. We have 6 high-end gaming computers, one Internet-accessible computer for surfing the web or checking your Myspace page, 2 Xbox 360s, one Wii, one Xbox, one PS2 and over 150 games for the various systems.

You can play single-player, online against people all over the world, or against other people inside our center. While we focus mostly on gaming, we have two computers that are also tailored for checking their email, chatting with their friends on instant messaging, browsing the internet, or working on homework. We have all three consoles available for usage and access to our extensive game title library is included in your hourly rental rate. We offer a small selection of board games and card games for usage in the store - a nominal fee of $1.00 is charged to check out any of our games. Please peruse the game selections on the merchandise wall by the stairs and select a title, then bring it up to the front counter to check it out. Feel free to play either in our cafe seating on the main floor or upstairs.
